Denali Commission Rural Manager Training Needs Assessment
Three Star was contracted to provide a comprehensive assessment of training needs from the perspective of rural managers in Rural Alaska, who collectively are responsible for more than a billion dollars in public infrastructure. As part of the study, Three Star traveled to multiple rural hubs to:

  • do outreach for the training needs assessment,
  • conduct program inventories of existing training programs
  • elicit the support of regional organizations to assist with the statewide Rural Manager training needs assessment survey.
As a result of this survey, a detailed picture of training needs, barriers to education, and preferred training delivery methods was developed. Attached is the executive summary and detailed report.
